How many Macs can I use it on?
Up to 5 of your own Macs at a time. Enter the same license key on each one. To move it to a new Mac, deactivate an old one in Settings → License.
Why not use the built-in clipboard history?
The clipboard history in Spotlight (macOS 26 and later) keeps clips for up to 7 days and asks before it starts. MagPaste keeps them as long as you like, from the first copy, and adds pins, the paste stack, transforms, search inside screenshots and encryption.
Does MagPaste send my clips anywhere?
Never. Clips stay encrypted on your Mac. The app only goes online to check your license and look for new versions. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Which login codes delete themselves?
Codes you copy in Messages, Mail, Outlook, WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal; codes you copy from Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo, iCloud, Proton or Zoho Mail in Safari, Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc; and codes written like G-123456, wherever you copy them. MagPaste hides them and deletes them after a minute (change the time in Settings → Privacy). Card numbers and API keys too. A plain number copied anywhere else, like a postal code, stays.
